Glossy, voluminous and thick — the Duchess of Cambridge inspires constant hair envy with her Crown. And while her Rapunzel like tresses are under steady surveillance with people commenting on the slightest glint of an auburn highlight or the whisper of longer face fringe — the duchess still has not spilled her mane secrets. While we can assume she’s *very* familiar with a round brush — the rest of her bountiful and beautiful locks remain a mystery.
Here we examine how magical the duchess’ lockdown locks have become and her recent Zoom blowouts which would even impress the disciples of Guy Tang or the followers of Fekkai. #hairgoals
Hair Today
In March of last year Kate showed off a bouncy new cut — her ends looked freshly trimmed and her famous brunette locks were styled in a flattering medium length ‘do. In early February of 2021, Kate’s hair had grown nearly to her waist and her shiny and perfect tresses made for the perfect Zoom beauty accessory.
Girl with Curl
Kate showed off her impressively long locks and thick tresses in a late January work from home call of this year. In June 2020, the duchess visited the Nook in Norfolk displaying a shoulder grazing style. It appears Kate’s hair has gotten fuller during the pandemic prescribed country nesting period — perhaps Kate’s crowning glory has become denser due to less stress with decreased travel obligations and fewer face to face work engagements?
Hairy Situation
Kate may have genetics to thank for her long locks but also likely has a Buckingham Beauty Team at the ready. In March 2020, Kate’s shiny shoulder length hair was serious competition for the gleam of her Vampire’s Wife dress. Almost a year later, Kate appears to have avoided any chops in favor of growing out her smooth and bouncy royal mane.
Hair Apparent
While we love to speculate on Kate’s hair-story — many people have scaled back on their visits to salon during the Covid pandemic, thus, Kate’s hair may have grown extra long without her usual hair stylist appointments. Secondly, there’s rampant speculation that Kate and William are planning for baby number four — Kate’s long locks may be indicative of the thicker and fuller hair often seen during her other pregnancies. Fingers crossed for another irresistibly cute Cambridge! (Kate pictured March 2020 and February 2021).
