The Duchess of Cambridge made her first solo tour visit since 2017 to Denmark. The 40-year-old was ready for a busy two days in Copenhagen as she landed following a windy flight aboard British Airways (shunning a private jet). The duchess carried her Smythson East/West Zipper tote as a carry-on bag for the two hour flight from London.
For her arrival, Kate showed a bit of sartorial diplomacy with her Denmark flag colored Zara Red Textured Double Breast Blazer. In addition, she opted for a new ruffled top from ME+EM and selected the brand’s frill collar layering top. For pants, Kate wore her Roland Mouret Axon Wide leg trousers and finished her professional power suit with Gianvito Rossi Piper 85 pumps. She also donned some new pearl accessories including a vintage chain pearl necklace from Monica Vinader and Maria Black Cha Cha mother of pearl earrings. For a handbag, Kate carried her Aspinal London Midi Mayfair black croc bag.
Kate also had a bit of fun and took a trip down the Lego Foundation Playlab slide.
Kate’s workwear ensemble felt fresh with her Chanel-esque tweed blazer accented with decorative gold buttons and sleek tailored trousers. Adding a bit of visual interest with a Princess Diana beloved ruffled top was a smart choice for giving the outfit a bit of princess panache and professional polish.
For day two of her Denmark visit, Kate visited a forest school in Copenhagen. This time the duchess went for casual separates and relaxed winter staples.
Kate donned an H&M ribbed turtleneck sweater in cream, a Seeland Woodcock Advanced Hunting Jacket and Blundstone Vegan Chelsea Boots in Brown. She accessorized the down-to-earth ensemble with Liv Thurlwell bobble earrings.
For her final outfit of her whirlwind trip to the Danish capital, Kate wore a vintage minded ensemble and went with a naval inspired frock coat from Catherine Walker. Kate selected the label’s gunmental grey and cashmere wool blend ‘Marine’ coat with a contrasting black lapel and cuffs for her outing with the Danish royals. The Duchess of Cambridge joined Crown Princess Mary and Queen Margrethe at Amalienborg Castle in Copenhagen and later the two future Queens enjoyed a private business lunch.
Kate’s sophisticated coat was an elegant choice for a wintery day in Denmark. The structured maxi coat was modest with a tailored sharp silhouette and a double-breasted button front. Kate accessorized her daytime look with Danish designer Maria Black’s huggie hoop and freshwater pearl pendant Cha Cha earrings plus her Monica Vinader Vintage chain pearl necklace. Kate also carried her Mulberry Amberley black croc bag and for footwear opted for Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps.
