Looking radiant, refreshed and ready for a bit of fun playing polo spectator, the Duchess of Sussex was in fine form as she attended the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Wellington, Florida on Friday, April 12th alongside her husband and friends.
For the outing, Meghan captured the spirit, essence and cool SoCal vibe of her new American Riviera Orchard brand and logo — wearing a beige dress with gold jewelry (the ARO emblem bears a similar flax color scheme with a metallic gold crest).
To bask in the sunny skies of the East Coast alongside friends Serena Williams and Nacho Figueras, Meghan wore a new ‘resort wear’ outfit.
Meghan’s new take on quiet luxury was evidenced by her Heidi Merrick ‘Ginger’ dress featuring a folded halter top and long scarf collar which can be tied into a bouncy bow near the side or in the back. In addition, the summery style boasts a pocketed and pleated drop waist skirt and midriff cutout. The dress can be purchased in Ivory or Noir silk & hemp. The stylish midi also has a coordinating one-piece nylon swimsuit in the shade butter within the Merrick catalog.
Meghan’s stylish cut-out dress has a modern halter cross front neckline which shows off a hint of tummy cleavage. The airy dress is midi length with a fully lined swinging skirt attached with a knot.
Created in California, Meghan has long been a fan of the Heidi Merrick brand; the two have been collaborating since January 2013 and Meghan previously stepped out in a teal Byron bow blouse and black and gold pollock dress from the Los Angeles based fashion designer.
In addition, Meghan has been wearing Merrick’s fashions on repeat lately.
She recently donned the label’s mini dress in chocolate brown called the Napoleon (seen on a sushi date with Harry), a bronze Ember skirt (seen at a Beyonce Renaissance concert), a silk and hemp ivory Zelda blazer (seen in Austin, Texas) as well as two of their stylish black hoodies printed with the letters SRF LA (seen on the Netflix documentary ‘Harry and Meghan’).
Also, in Austin last month she wore Heidi Merrick’s Marish top in black while visiting the Uvalde community.
She’s not the only Suits star in love with Heidi Merrick’s designs. Meghan’s good friend Abigail Spencer also appeared on her Instagram account wearing the same Merrick ‘Ginger’ dress in the fall of 2023.
For a handbag, Meghan carried her Valentino Garavani One Stud Leather Shoulder Bag in ivory. Crafted in Italy of supple and soft nappa leather, the chic tote is a must have for summer garden parties and evenings al fresco. The statement bag features a distinctive pyramid gold stud and can be worn as a crossbody or shoulder bag thanks to the adjustable sliding chain strap.
Meghan’s spring-centric dress was accented with new vintage Chanel oversized gold button earrings as well as her Ariel Gordon Diamond Hex bracelet. The sparkling wrist accessory has over 1.5 carats of round brilliant cut diamonds nestled in solid gold hexagon-shaped links.
In addition, Meghan wore her Heidi Merrick Santa Barbara Sunglasses. The oversized black frame sunglasses feature 100% UV Protection.
For footwear, Meghan opted for her Aquazzura Purist 105 pumps in Nude Nappa Leather. The stylish stilettos are meticulously crafted in Italy and designed with a sleek pointed toe and slender 105mm heel.
The Sussexes were seen filming during the event likely for their new polo reality series.
For the trophy presentation, Harry and Meghan recreated their famous kiss in Florida which echoed their affectionate moment captured on the polo field in July 2018 at the Sentebale Cup held in England at the Royal Berkshire Polo Club.
Finally, a royal recap and a look back at Meghan’s previous polo fashions from a denim belted Carolina Herrera, Shoshanna gingham shirtdress and now a modern halter from Heidi Merrick.
Another image captured of the duchess shows her and Prince Harry near the club pool; the mom of two is wearing a black sleeveless tank top, white jeans and is also carrying a new Cesta ‘Taco’ tote in the shade olive grove. The large handwoven raffia bag is made with organic vegetable dyed plant fiber and comes with a hand-braided handle, plus, the bag is accented with 18 karat gold plated brass hardware.
Finally, Harry and Meghan were photographed casually spending time with polo star Nacho Figueras and his wife Delfina Blaquier the day after the Royal Salute Polo Challenge held on Friday. The Sussexes were busy in Palm beach filming their new series for Netflix and also spending time with friends. On Saturday April 13th, Meghan was snapped wearing a breezy blue button down linen shirt with white wide leg pants and cream colored Hermes Paris Oran sandals. The Italian made designer sandals feature the brand’s iconic “H” cut-out. The duchess was also wearing her Heidi Merrick Santa Barbara sunglasses once again.
