The Duchess of Sussex is an inspiration to many as she is a truly multi-hyphenate royal. Not only a member of the royal family, Meghan is also an author, philanthropist and lifestyle creator. Thus, it’s no surprise that she wanted to share her talent for storytelling with patients at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
Participating in a Literally Healing session, Meghan read aloud from books for the storytime session. She also took polaroids, signed autographs and gave out hugs at the event.
For the outing, the duchess wore her Oscar de la Renta Silk Chiffon Landscape shirtdress. The silk gown is infused with artistic inspiration and features a meadow landscape with large multi-color floral blossoms. Meghan’s Italian made dress has a mock neckline, long sheer sleeves and a fitted bodice with a waist accentuating sash.
Meghan’s dress was reminiscent of Princess Kate’s Catherine Walker Fleur cap sleeve white dress which has a similar botanical print on the skirt.
The California based duchess also wore her Aquazzura Love Affair black suede flats for the visit.
In addition, Meghan donned the de la Rent designer dress at Frogmore Cottage and the style was also featured in the Sussexes docu-series on Netflix called ‘Harry and Meghan.’
