The Duke and Duchess of Sussex received a warm welcome as they touched down in South America to begin a four-day tour of Colombia. During the multi-day visit, Meghan wore local designers, vintage jewelry, new shoes and recycled clothing. 

The duchess looked trendy while still being styled in elegant and event-appropriate attire.


Sussex Visit to Colombia

Day 1: First Outfit

Meghan and Harry met Vice President Francia Márquez and her husband Yerney Pinillo at her official residence on August 15, 2024 in Bogota. Meghan wore a Veronica Beard Orlinda Vest in Navy.

She donned the matching cropped navy ‘Arte’ trousers by Veronica Beard and carried a new roomy bag from Loro Piana in a chalky shade. The Loro Piana Loom Bag L32 is textured with grained calfskin and features a front padlock; she carried the handbag in the color Light Travertine/Sun Gold. The duchess also wore Manolo Blahnik Carolyne Satin Slingback Pumps. For accessories, she opted for her blue Pippa Smalls Kyanite Classic Stud Earrings.

Day 1: Second Outfit 

To watch a special dance performance at the National Centre for the Arts (CNA) in Bogotá, Meghan changed outfits into a colorful Johanna Ortiz pink and burgundy jacquard dress.

She wore the brand’s Navajo Weaver metallic tweed maxi dress featuring a striking keyhole cutout. She elevated the look with summer sandals and opted for new tan mules — Jimmy Choo’s Etana 50 Leather Strappy Sandals with a tortoiseshell heel. She completed the warm weather ensemble with her yellow gold Cartier Juste Un Clou choker necklace. In addition, she recycled her Lanvin Sleeper Hoop earrings. To add interest to the ensemble, Meghan opted for a new chunky vintage cocktail ring named the ‘High Tea’–the accessory features coral beads and a yellow gold flower accented with diamonds.

Day 1: Third Outfit

The Sussexes attended the Responsible Digital Future forum in Bogota. Meghan recycled her Victoria Beckham chocolate brown silk shirt. She wore new silky La Ligne Colby pull-on pants in the shade spice.

For the discussion, the duchess again selected new shoes and wore Aquazzura Divine 85 Sandals in Cognac Brown. The designer heels feature a classic crossover detail and slim ankle strap. She accessorized the look with her Birks Muse citrine yellow gold earrings and Cartier Just Un Clou nail necklace.

Day 2: First Outfit

Meghan wore her Loro Piana Jamilla linen and wool blazer.

She paired the Italian made double-breasted blazer with an unidentified white button down and black skinny pants. She wore her Chanel beige and black slingback flats and accessorized with Princess Diana’s diamond butterfly earrings. The duchess carried a new cream colored Panna crossbody bag from Cesta Collective. 

 

Day 2: Second Outfit

The duchess donned a skirt from resort wear designer Juan de Dios called the Amaime.

Featuring a cotton-silk blend, the green/white dotted midi skirt has an original hand-painted Calico “Chint” print. Meghan paired the skirt with her new Jimmy Choo Etana leather mule sandals.

The duchess accessorized with Ecksand Emerald and Pink Sapphire Dangle Earrings. 

 

Day 2: Third Outfit

Meghan wore a sleeveless blue maxi dress by Oscar de la Renta to a private luncheon held by vice president of Colombia, Francia Marquez. She paired the flowy designer dress with her silver ‘Celeste’ heels by Aquazzura and her Logan Hollowell Baby Reverse Water Drop Diamond Tennis Necklace. 

The lab created diamond necklace has been seen on the duchess on three other occasions previously.

Day 3: First Outfit

The Sussexes arrived at the Tambores de Cabildo. Meghan wore a new two-piece set by Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz. She donned the Deep Ocean tie-detail silk top paired with the coordinating Hello Sailor printed silk maxi skirt hailing from the brand’s resort 2025 collection.

In addition, the duchess wore gold accessories including her Ariel Gordon Royal Signet Studs. The distinctive disc earrings are handmade in Los Angeles and feature an oval shaped polished disc rendered in 14 karat gold. She also wore the jewelry maker’s Ariel Gordon Imeprial Disc Necklace. The chic necklace boasts a rope chain and medallion pendant. In addition, Meghan recycled her new Cesta Collective Panna cream colored crossbody. For footwear, she wore her Aquazzura Divine 85 sandals in brown. The mom of two was also photographed wearing her beloved Ray-Ban aviators.

 

Day 3: Second Outfit

The Sussexes arrived holding hands at the Benkos Biohó Square of San Basilio de Palenque in the north of Bolívar. Meghan looked chic in casual monochrome separtes. For the outing, the duchess wore a new Argent Stretch Rayon tank. The slim fit and sleeveless crewneck is perfect for the Colombian climate.  

Meghan paired the pullover stretch tank with a new Posse skirt in white called the ‘Emma.’ The skirt boasts a straight-cut silhouette tailored from an airy linen-blend with a wide elastic waistband that sits high above the hips. For accessories, Meghan also wore Ariel Gordon Imperial Pendant necklace with her Cartier Just Un Clou choker. She repeated her Ray-Bans and recycled a pair of Emme Parsons Cecilia black calfskin sandals from her California closet. Wearing a new panama hat, the duchess opted for a Hannia Char ‘Boater’ hat with Maria Esquivia Cord Wrapped Earrings.

Day 4: First Outfit 
 
Meghan and Harry attended an Afro Women and Power Forum, along with Vice President Francia Marquez in Cali, Colombia. Meghan spoke Spanish and gave a speech at the event. For the summit, Meghan donned a Silvia Tcherassi ‘Blair’ Sequin floral midi skirt.
The duchess paired the shimmering pale pink sequin floral print skirt with what’s believed to possibly be a Mango sleeveless cotton shirt. In addition, she wore her colorful Manolo Blahnik BB 85 Magenta suede pumps. She also donned her Evil Eye bracelet and Lorainne Schwartz emerald cut diamond pinky ring. Meghan’s gold fan earrings were a gift from the Vice President of Colombia. 
 
 

 
Day 4: Second Outfit
 
During their visit to Cali, Columbia, the Sussexes took part in some salsa dancing. The couple met with members of a student youth organization and joined the student dancers for a bit of fun on the dance floor. Meghan was outfitted in Annie Bing’a Amani short sleeve white t-shirt and a new Juan De Dios El Carmen Hand Embroidered Midi Skirt. 
In addition, Meghan wore Miu Miu Ariste sunglasses and her Cartier braclet and Cartier tank watch in gold. She completed the outfit with Stuart Weitzman Benni sandals in tan.
 

 
Day 4: Third Outfit
 
Appearing in high spirits after their impromptu dancing, the couple later attended the Petronio Álvarez Festival. For the special outing, the duchess wore another Colombian Designer, Andres Otalora. She donned the brand’s Joya Colonial Tiered Cotton Poplin dress in green and white. 
Meghan paired the dress inspired by the lush landscapes of Colombia with new Aquazzura ‘Talk to Me’ 105 high heel sandals in black. Finally, the mom of two also wore unidentified gold earrings.
