The Princess of Wales conducted her first in-person meeting at Windsor Castle since completing chemotherapy treatment. Participating in a discussion for her Early Years legacy project, the princess was featured in the Court Circular on September 17th for the first time in nine months.
Marking a major milestone in her recovery, the princess met with her team of advisors at the Royal Foundation.
Journalists at The Times like Kate Mansey described the princess’ meeting as “a return to work” indicating that her recovery is progressing well.
Kate’s cancer announcement video in March as well as her recent celebratory video detailing the end of her treatment, and a few fleeting glimpses of the princess including a visit to Balmoral, were the only non-official sightings of Her Royal Highness this year.
The princess did appear in-person for Trooping the Colour in June as well as attended the Men’s tennis finals at Wimbledon in July.
This recent meeting is expected to be one of a few she will be undertaking in the coming months as it’s believed she will also attend Remembrance Services in November and hold her annual Christmas carol concert in December.
