The Duchess of Sussex spent an evening enjoying literary adventures when she made a surprise appearance at Godmothers bookstore. The West Coast based royal was seen at the Summerland, California Bookstore and Gathering Space.
Joined by other famous faces like Oprah Winfrey, the duchess was in starry company for the grand opening of the new local bookstore not far from Meghan and Harry’s Montecito home.
As an author herself, the duchess was likely considered a special guest at the new farmhouse inspired store. Both Prince Harry’s “Spare” non-fiction memoir and Meghan’s children’s book “The Bench” were seen on display on quaint white window sills.
For the appearance, Meghan wore a past season jumpsuit from Club Monaco — the collared jumpsuit in black. The belted wide-leg jumpsuit is a sleeveless design with a button front. The chic summery style is still available in brown linen at the website ‘Rent the Runway.’
Meghan paired the classic workwear-friendly ensemble with a Logan Hollowell Fortuna necklace with white diamonds.
The duchess finished the look with her Jimmy Choo Etana 50 Leather Strappy Mule Sandals in tan. 
In addition, she carried her Celine Triomphe 55MM Sunglasses.
