As a former blogger and founder of lifestyle website The Tig, Meghan Markle is naturally a savvy decorator and designer. Thus, it’s easy to see why her Christmas Cards are always full of seasonal charm and joy.

The Sussexes release a new card each season and often change the theme and design concept — their seasonal greetings have ranged from black and white snapshots to artsy drawings to glamorous couple photos.

Here’s a Look Back at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Christmas Cards:

2018

On December 14, 2018 the palace released a loved up shot of the Sussexes in their newlywed glory enjoying fireworks at Frogmore House. Having just said ‘I do’ the royal couple were savoring their new status as husband and wife.

The black and white shot showed off Meghan’s slinky Stella McCartney halter dress and Harry outfitted in a classic black tuxedo.

2019

The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust Twitter (X) account gave royal fans a festive treat by releasing the Sussexes digital Christmas card in mid-December 2019.

Showing off her ivory funnel neck Ridley sweater from AllSaints, Meghan looked cozy perched next to the twinkling Christmas tree. Still, it was little seventh-month-old Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor who stole the seasonal spotlight in a cute polar bear jumper courtesy of Boden.

2020

Celebrating their dreamy California homestead in Montecito, the Sussexes were pictured in a computer drawing which was shared on social media by animal welfare charity The Mayhew, where the duchess acts as patron.

A computer illustration of a photo taken by Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, the family is showcased enjoying time with Prince Archie in his playhouse (decorated with seasonal decor) on the grounds of their Santa Barbara estate. Family pups Guy and Pula also have a cameo in the colorful card.

2021

Harry and Meghan’s 2021 card offered royal fans a look at the newest star in the Sussex home: Princess Lilibet.

The cozy snap featured Meghan in her casual best wearing jeans with an oversized sweater: The Row Kensington Cashmere Sweater in black. The heavyweight cozy pullover is knitted in Italy and designed of a supersoft yarn with a relaxed fit.

2022

Released by the Archewell Foundation, Harry and Meghan’s glamorous Xmas card circa 2022 featured the couple clad in designer evening wear for the Ripple of Hope Awards gala in New York City in December 2022. (Meghan was outfitted in a white custom Louis Vuitton gown).

Since the black and white picture of the Sussexes offered plenty of seasonal sparkle, the rest of the card was simple with a concise holiday greeting.

2023

Another year, another dazzling royal Christmas card — this time the Sussexes showed off their philanthropic pursuits with a holiday send-out dedicated to their appearance at the Invictus Games closing ceremony held in September 2023.

For the event, Meghan donned a Cult Gaia Raylene laser cut column dress made of vegan leather in a striking seamoss shade.
