The Princess of Wales looked lovely in lace as she attended the Order of the Garter ceremony at St. George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle this afternoon.
Recycling her Self-Portrait Tailored Boucle Chiffon Midi Dress in Cream, the princess was radiant in the sophisticated blazer dress with its mixed media design boasting a lacy skirt.

The poignant appearance marks a major comeback moment for the princess who has not been at the summer ceremony since 2023 due to her health battle with cancer.
Kate and the Duchess of Edinburgh shared a few laughs during the proceedings as they stood on the Galilee Porch for the special event.

For the occasion, Kate re-wore her Self-Portrait midi dress which she has worn on four previous occasions — including to a Hold Still reception in September 2021, the Platinum Jubilee party in 2022 and the VE Day Anniversary Concert in May 2025.
The dress features a wrap front and is constructed of boucle, lace and chiffon. Perfect for a bridal look, the elegant two-in-one design is ideal for formalwear or business outings. Shop a budget version HERE
Kate paired the elegant day dress with her favorite Susan Caplan accessories including her 1980s vintage five-strand pearl necklace.
She also recycled her Susan Caplan Vintage Renaissance Revival Pearl Earrings.
The princess carried her Strathberry Multress Chain Wallet in Vanilla and Diamond. A perfect modern handbag, the piece is handcrafted in Spain and can be carried as a formal clutch or worn as a crossbody bag with its removable gold chain strap. Adorned with Strathberry’s signature Music Bar — the colorblock bag is surprisingly spacious with an interior featuring eight card slots and a zipped pocket with a leather pull.
In addition, the princess donned a new custom wide brim hat by Sean Barrett.
For heels, she opted for her Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps in bisque suede.
