Still, this isn’t the Wales’ first move. In fact since their early newlywed days, the couple moved residences a few times and even relocated while their eldest son Prince George was just a baby.

Kate and William’s first quaint cottage was this charming country home near the Irish sea located in the hamlet of Bodorgan, Anglesey, Wales. The prince and princess occupied the four-bedroom abode from 2010 to 2013 and paid a mere $1013 a month in rent. A particularly sentimental home for the family — Prince George spent his earliest newborn days at the 18th century neo-classical mansion.

Notable amenities at the 1000 year old rural white-stone country farmhouse include: expansive terraced kitchen gardens, a dove shelter, large lawn and deer park along with horse stables. A sizable modern office as well as carriage houses and numerous sheds also feature on the grounds.

Netflix viewers saw that the cottage has traditional flair with modern styling. The small kitchen is outfitted with black and white tiled floors, buttercream wallpaper in the main living room and a white picket fence encircles the small exterior of the historic home.
