Cover Girl! The Duchess of Sussex looked ready to conquer the corporate world and make her mark as an influencer and power player on the world stage with a stunning Time Magazine cover alongside husband Prince Harry. Named an “iconic” duo by the magazine and heralded as two of the world’s 100 most influential people — the Sussexes are set for world domination.
Wearing pleated pants, button down blouses and turtlenecks for the shoot — Meghan looked ready to command an empire (or kingdom) of her own. Pictured in an idyllic garden setting (likely the yard of their Montecito mansion) — the couple posed as chic corporate executives ready to answer the call to help others and raise awareness for causes closest to their hearts.
In their magazine feature written by friend Chef Jose Andres, the formidable twosome are celebrated for their activism. As Andres says, “In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don’t know, the duke and duchess have compassion for the people they don’t know. They don’t just opine. They run toward the struggle. Springing into action is not the easy choice for a young duke and duchess who have been blessed through birth and talent, and burned by fame. It would be much safer to enjoy their good fortune and stay silent.”
For the cover, Meghan wore a selection of jewelry including a new pinky ring by Shiffon. The duchess also wore her Jennifer Meyer Bezel tennis bracelet.
Duchess Meghan also wore what’s believed to be the Demme Cashmere and Silk turtleneck from The Row. Available at Nordstrom and Bergdorf Goodman.
Meghan’s wide leg pleated navy pants are thought to be Igor pants by The Row or Victoria Beckham pleated wool trousers (pictured).
For the cover, Meghan also donned white wide leg trousers which are presumed to be Giorgio Armani wide leg trousers. (ID Laura A).
