After releasing her charity cookbook this week, the Duchess of Sussex celebrated the book’s debut with a casual cookout on the lawn of Kensington Palace. The launch party marks a significant milestone for Meghan as it is her first project as a royal. The book “Together: Our Community Kitchen” features a foreword by the Duchess of Sussex and is the culmination of months of work with the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen. The book’s proceeds will allow the kitchen to operate full-time.
The Duchess of Sussex accompanied by her mother, Doria Ragland and Prince Harry arrived at the cookbook party at Kensington Palace.
For the afternoon luncheon Meghan wore a pop of color with a blue Smythe coat in Zephyr blue. The coat’s color is not that far removed from the Jason Wu royal blue dress she wore to the recent 100 Days to Peace gala.
The Smythe Peaked Lapel Wool Coat has a sleek and sculptural fit. The longline wool blend coat is sophisticated and modern with notched lapels and long sleeves with button cuffs. The coat looks chic when paired with dark separates or a white blouse and jeans.
The Duchess also wore a Tuxe Renegade Cashmere bodysuit sleeveless turtleneck bodysuit. The ribbed cotton turtleneck pairs perfectly with a pleated skirt or skinny denim.
The Duchess completed her ensemble with a pleated skirt by friend Misha Nonoo. The feminine black midi Saturday skirt is similar in style to Meghan’s Club Monaco dress.
The Duchess of Sussex also added her Sarah Flint Jay 100 Tortoise Shell Pumps.
For a little bit of bling, the duchess finished her smart outfit with a Catbird Threadbare Stackable ring in yellow gold.
