The Duchess of Cambridge is active and athletic and loves the outdoors so it’s no surprise that her and Prince William often opt for tropical vacation spots when they want to getaway and enjoy some time outdoors. The loved up couple have been photographed in the past enjoying some vacay in a variety of island paradises and have been known to splash around in the sea with family members including Kate’s sister Pippa and mom Carole Middleton. 1. Island Babymoon

In February 2013, Kate and William stole some time away together on the island of Mustique. Kate was done with her first trimester (pregnant with Prince George at the time) and was likely delighted to enjoy some fun in the sun and a bit of reprieve from her first months of pregnancy. Kate appeared to have opted for a turquoise and white watercolor bikini and some white accessories (possibly shell earrings and a bracelet).

2. Newlywed Bliss

Captured on their honeymoon in the Seychelles in 2011, Kate and William appeared relaxed and ready for a bit of vacation following their epic wedding extravaganza which was watched by millions around the globe. Kate opted for a black bandeau neck tie bikini with a gold embellishment.

3. Reign in Spain

The duchess was spotted in an all white bikini vacationing with family and Prince William in Ibiza prior to the royal wedding. Kate opted for an all white bikini as did her sister Pippa Middleton. As they took pictures and enjoyed some diving it was obvious the two brunette beauties were related as they looked like twins atop their yacht in the open ocean.

Kate wore this blue Vix Bia bikini on the sandy shores of Mustique. The pregnant duchess was seen splashing around in the water and enjoying long walks on the beach with Prince William.

5. French Connection

Before having children, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a French break at the Linleys’ chateau in Provence where Kate wore a ruffled bandeau bikini for a terrace tanning session in 2012.
