Ahead of his 13th birthday on July 22nd, the future teenager Prince George spent time with his mother on a royal engagement at RAF Coningsby. The duo teamed up to tour planes and meet with Air Force pilots and personnel on their joint engagement.
Royal fans marveled at Prince George’s height as he stood nearly eye to eye with his mother in a new photo from the outing.
To accompany a short video of the visit shared on the Wales’ Instagram on June 27th — the social media post was captioned: “Marking Armed Forces Day by reflecting on time spent with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby.”
For the engagement, the princess opted for a new Max Mara Ateneo jacquard jersey blazer in black and grey.
The wool and cotton blend blazer boasts a slim fit with a central rear slit, a peaked collar and horn button fastening as well as lined monogram fabric which gives the classic blazer added polish and panache.
She paired the blazer with a Joseph Foundations Silk Stretch Tank Top in Ivory.

For trousers, she repeated her Joseph Coleman Long Gabardine Stretch Trousers in Cocoa.
For accessories, she donned her Annoushka 18Ct Gold Baroque Pearl Earring Drops.
And completed the daytime ensemble with her Pretty Ballerinas’ Ella Loafers in Cognac. She last wore the slip-on mules for a visit to the Natural History Museum in September 2025.
