The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked flawless at their evening engagement on day two of the Royal Tour of Pakistan. The royal couple pulled up in an auto rickshaw to a reception at the National Monument Islamabad, hosted by the British High Commission. The event is being held to celebrate the best of Pakistan’s culture. For this occasion, the duchess opted for an emerald green gown by Jenny Packham, while the Duke wore a Sherwani by Naushemian.
As we noted on our Instagram page, Kate has worn shimmery Jenny Packham in the past and wore a beaded silver dress by the designer in September 2013 not long after having Prince George.
For the elegant event, Kate selected the ‘Georgia’ dress by the bridal and ready to wear designer Jenny Packham. The glittery style was seen on the Autumn/Winter 2019 runway and the style exemplifies the timeless elegance and enchanting romance for which the brand is renowned. Fitted with a tailored waistline which is further accentuated with a row of crystals, the feminine design is dripping in head-to-toe sequins, delivering serious glamour. The Duchess of Cambridge had the dress custom made in forest green and with additional detailing on the sleeves.
Kate paired the look with strappy silver shoes by Jimmy Choo–the Mimi 100 Sandals in Silver. The antracite metallic nappa heels feature an intertwined ankle strap that twists twice around the foot to create the illusion of volume and then meets in a delicate metal buckle fastening.
Kate also wore custom earrings from O’nitaa London.
