Quick change! The Duchess of Cambridge went from burgundy to blue and looked effortlessly elegant in her evening attire after a busy afternoon at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day services. The busy mom was stunning in a bold bejeweled blue gown by Jenny Packham that she donned during a tour of India in 2016.
A look at Kate’s dress then and now–the duchess wore the evening gown without the embroidered shawl for the palace party. The dress features sheer sleeves covered in blue beading and is likely inspired by the fashion trends of Bollywood.
For the Place2Be’s 25th anniversary–Kate took to the podium and said of the charity, “You have taught me the importance of creating safe and nurturing environments within schools.” The Duchess has been a patron of Place2Be since 2013.
For the evening engagement, Kate carried a sparkly beaded blue clutch.
In addition, Kate wore Erdem Pearl Embellished Floral Drop Earrings ([email protected]).
Kate finished her pretty ensemble with silver and dusk blue fireball glitter fabric pointy toe pumps from Jimmy Choo.
