The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spoke to four representatives from organizations which will benefit from The Royal Foundation’s COVID-19 Response Fund, and heard how mental health support will be needed for those working on the frontline and those delivering vital support to the nation. Kate and William joined in on an outdoor meeting to discuss plans for the Royal Foundation’s COVID-19 Response Fund at the Queen’s estate.

The Duchess of Cambridge was keen to acknowledge frontline workers and spoke saying, “We have all been in awe of the incredible work that frontline staff and emergency responders have been doing in response to COVID-19, but we know that for many of them the pandemic will have a lasting impact on their mental health.”

For the engagement, Kate wore a dress that some royal watchers speculated could’ve been in her closet intended for an appearance at Wimbledon. The royal wore a Suzannah cotton shirt dress with a blue polka print. The retro style dress is not an unusual choice for the mom of three who often gravitates towards vintage silhouettes and modest midis. The Duchess of Sussex is also a big fan of the classic shirtdress.

Kate’s summery style is described as a “classic 1950’s inspired shirt dress cut from a lightweight, Italian organic cotton printed with an all over design of small tonal blue graphic polka dots. The bodice is semi fitted, with a classic shirt collar and elbow length, cuffed sleeves. The skirt features subtle box pleats which gives the dress plenty of volume and movement at the hem. The dress is fully lined in cotton and features invisible side seam pockets and a coordinating tie belt.”

This is not the first time the duchess has stepped out in a white shirt dress by Suzannah. Kate wore another belted style by the designer for a tennis outing last year.

For the Cambridges outdoor meeting at the Queen’s Sandringham estate, the duchess also selected a new bracelet — the Stephanie howlite cuff from Sezane.

The unique cuff features natural stone pearls. Kate selected the ‘ecru gold’ style.

The future Queen consort also wore her Daniella Draper cupid hoop earrings.

The 38-year-old finished the look with her favorite camel Castaner Carina wedges.
