The Duke and Duchess of Sussex paid tribute to fallen war heroes from their home in Los Angeles. In honor of Remembrance Day — the couple visited Los Angeles National Cemetery. A source closet to the Sussexes told Harper’s Bazaar, “It was important to the duke and duchess to be able to personally recognize Remembrance in their own way, to pay tribute to those who have served and to those who gave their lives.”
As a veteran himself, with dedicated service to the Army for a decade and having undertaken two tours of Afghanistan — the day is especially poignant for Prince Harry.
For the occasion, Meghan wore a Brandon Maxwell Wool Satin Faille Jacket dress. The bespoke coat dress is believed to be based on the designer’s pleated wool twill and silk organza coat.
The Gazaar wool and silk statement jacket by Brandon Maxwell is available at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Meghan’s belt has been identified as the Brandon Maxwell Cotton and Silk Blend Waist Belt.
The duchess also wore a pair of Jennifer Chamandi 105 Lorenzo black suede pumps. Designed with a signature ‘needle’ point heel — Meghan’s Mary-Janes features a 4-inch heel. An identical Lorenzo with a 3.5-inch heel is also available.
Meghan’s ensemble also included a pair of black gloves and an unidentified black face mask as well as her Cartier Yellow gold bracelet and Princess Diana’s gold tank watch.
