With a glamorous sideswept hairdo and berry colored lips — the Duchess of Cambridge looked like a 50s starlet as she strode into Royal Albert Hall for this year’s Royal Variety Performance. Accompanied by her husband Prince William and later joined by the Cambridge clan including mother Carole and Michael Middleton as well as James and his wife Alizée Thevenet — the Middleton crew were seated in the Royal Box for performances from Ed Sheeran, James Blunt and Rod Stewart.
For the star studded performance, the duchess opted for her Jenny Packham Tenille embellished satin gown. Made from forest-green satin, the floor length gown is drenched in shimmery sequins and has strategically placed crystals at the bodice as well as a nipped-in waist and cuffs. The internal shoulder pads give the glittery gown structure and a floor-sweeping train adds more drama.
The mom of three previously wore the elegant gown for a reception in Pakistan.
For accessories, Kate opted for a new coordinating green sequin box clutch which is also believed to be a Packham design.
Kate also donned her Missoma Gold Zenyu chandelier earrings.
She finished the look with her Emmy London greenery pumps.
