The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge landed in Belize for the start of their 8-day Royal Tour of the Caribbean. In celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the Cambridges are visiting Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas.

To be greeted by the Governor-General of Belize, Kate donned a cobalt blue lace skirt dress by Jenny Packham. The sheath style number appears like a skirt suit but is in fact one garment.

Kate paired the sleek midi with a new unidentified blue scallop clutch.

In addition, the duchess wore her sapphire necklace and earrings belonging to the sapphire suite set of the late Princess Diana. Kate wore her oval drop sapphire earrings and matching necklace.

Kate’s look is similar to the peplum packham dress she wore in 2016 — the beige lace number features a similar scalloped trim detail.

Kate’s blue dress was a perfect bit of sartorial diplomacy as the Belize flag is comprised of the color blue. The duchess finished the ensemble with new Emmy London Rebecca Cobalt blue pumps.
