Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended a Kinsey Collection panel at SoFi Stadium on Thursday on behalf of the Archewell Foundation. The exhibit features documents, books, fine art and historical artifacts celebrating African American achievements. From the 16th century through the era of slavery and civil rights movement, the curated collection speaks to the lives and experiences of African Americans globally and historically.
The Kinsey Foundation is one of the world’s leading institutions dedicated to the research, interpretation and presentation of the African American experience internationally.
Both Meghan and Harry gave speeches at the special exhibition.
For the outing, Meghan donned a Carolina Herrera Floral Embroidered Tiered Mini Cape. The wool and cashmere blend cape represents the refined aesthetic of the Venezuelan fashion designer who creates classic, beautiful and feminine pieces with a hint of whimsy. Meghan’s charming cape has elbow length sleeves, a jewel neck and front hook and eye closure. The distinctive black cloak is embroidered with colorful blooms and floral accents.
Meghan paired the cape design with black dress pants and pointed black ballet flats.
