Meal fit for a King! The Princess of Wales brought her seasonal style to Buckingham Palace as she and the rest of her immediate family including Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were photographed attending King Charles’ annual pre-Christmas lunch. The Wales family were also accompanied by long-time nanny Maria Barrallo.
The lunch welcomes the entire extended royal family and was also attended by guests like Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, Prince Edward and wife Duchess Sophie accompanied by daughter Lady Louise as well as Lord Frederick Windsor and his wife, Sophie Winkleman.
This is the first time the Wales have attended the royal lunch since the pandemic. Previously, the festive luncheon was temporarily moved to Windsor Castle in 2022 and 2023 due to renovations. The Wales did not attend the lunch in 2024.
For the outing, the princess recycled her red Alessandra Rich Polka Dot Silk Midi Dress. Featuring allover white polka dots along with white floral petals, the pleated dress hails from the designer’s Autumn/Winter 2019 collection. The princess paired the holiday-ready dress with her Van Cleef & Arpels Magic Alhambra earrings with 2 motifs. The Magic Alhambra jewelry collection is inspired by the lucky clover leaf; Kate’s drop earrings boast two mother-of-pearl quatrefoil motifs set in 18 karat yellow gold. The princess also owns the matching necklace.
And she finished the look with her Miu Miu velvet bow hair clip. (Similar). Princess Kate previously wore the bow at the VE Day 80th Anniversary Concert. The oversized velvet hair clip is designed in black and accented with a bow at the face.
The hair accessory features a clip fastening with silver-tone hardware and tonal stitching. The size of the bow is approximately 8 length x 4.5 height. The decorative hair adornment also boasts a tag with a white Miu Miu label.
