The Princess of Wales discussed her healing journey in a new video posted for her 44th birthday today January 9th.

Appearing in the winter countryside, the princess reflected on her life and the power of nature in helping her heal from cancer. The video showcases not only Kate in her happiest place–the Berkshire countryside–but also reveals her favorite seasonal attire.

The new “Winter” video is the last installment in the princess’ Mother Nature series of four different short films in tribute to the power and beauty of the great outdoors.

During her forest bathing walk, the princess wore her Barbour Elfie jacket by Alexa Chung. A longline waxed green jacket perfect for braving the elements, the Elfie offers a lay-flat contrast collar with a detachable trim, along with a narrow waist belt. (Similar on Amazon)

This is the third time the princess has donned the jacket; she also wore it for Prince George’s private school football match in September 2023. And she donned the maxi coat for World Cancer Day in 2025.

It’s possible she wore her Iris & Ink Éloise Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater in Forest Green underneath her long Barbour coat.

For footwear, Kate opted for her Penelope Chilvers Long Tassel Conker Riding Boots. (Similar on Amazon)

She accessorized with a scarf from long ago. The mom of three recycled her Katherine Hooker paisley cashmere scarf last seen on the princess Cheltenham race course in March 2007.

She also rewore her House of Bruar Green Herringbone Ladies 8 Piece Tweed Cap.

The princess last wore the newsboy cap in April 2025 at the Lake District.
