The Duchess of Sussex is taking her brand to the next level and is no longer in partnership with Netflix.
According to sources, Meghan is relieved to “move forward” with her lifestyle label As Ever and was worried Netflix was holding her brand back and limiting the opportunity for a global audience. With full creative control, she can now expand her food and wellness business.

The duchess was reportedly concerned about the streamer being “too cautious” with her growing label and was ready to strike out on her own.
Meghan is reportedly ready to part ways with Netflix after a fruitful contract with the streamer which included the ultra-successful Harry and Meghan documentary, two-part lifestyle series With Love, Meghan and Polo documentary starring Prince Harry.

Meghan’s now the sole owner of her growing jam empire and will have the reins and complete control over every aspect of the business including marketing, management, sales, inventory and operation.
The new strategic step will allow the duchess the freedom and flexibility to grow her brand on her terms. With no rigid demands or benchmarks to meet, Meghan can change the direction of her lifestyle line and also revamp her social media and advertising. As sole proprietor, she can update her product packaging, hire new collaborators or executives and introduce new products.
Leaving the Netflix helm, she will be able to kickstart her own initiatives and offer global and international shipping. As an independent owner, she’s free to experiment with products and services, change brand direction or launch new ideas.

As Ever continues to sell its iconic jams, flower sprinkles, bookmarks, chocolate and tea online via its storefront.
