Two of Meghan Markle’s good friends Tracy Robbins, a fashion designer, and Argentinian socialite and photographer Delfina Blaquier, have received special parcels of Meghan’s new American Riviera Orchard jam. The deliveries encompass Meghan’s ARO lifestyle brand with a focus on rustic charm and California citrus.
The duchess delivered the new release in hampers sent to her friends with crinkle paper and lemons atop generous gift bowls. The glass jars were filled with strawberry jelly and decorated with muslin cloth covers reminiscent of burlap in keeping in line with the ARO farmhouse aesthetic. The artisanal preserves are covered with a fabric lid, parchment sticker label and cream colored string ribbon tied into a neat bow. Meghan’s impressive cursive calligraphy serves as the label’s lettering.
As the tradwife trend seems to be taking off with social media users experiencing a new interest in making bread, crocheting and cooking, Meghan’s houseware line seems perfectly timed. The comforting homemaker 1950s movement makes the thought of pie making, baking and canning (or tasting) preserves cool again.
The limited edition jars are labeled and Robbins received number 17 while Blaquier showcased number 10. Tracee Ellis Ross received 21 while Mindy Kaling was gifted jar 19. The jam drop comes at the same time as reports emerged that Meghan will begin filming her cooking show in an undisclosed location (not the Sussexes residence) for Netflix this week.
