The Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down in Bogotá to begin a four-day royal visit to Colombia. Upon arrival in the South American country, the couple met with Vice President Francia Marquez and Rafael Verney Pinillos.
For the first day of their tour, Meghan donned a sophisticated business ensemble. Wearing smart suit separates, the duchess wore a navy waistcoat and cropped capri pants from Veronica Beard. Classic and chic, Meghan’s new Orlinda Sleeveless Vest has cutaway shoulders and tortoiseshell buttons. The collared halter is available at Nordstrom HERE and Veronica Beard HERE
Meghan paired the vest with the brand’s Arte pants in navy. The cropped high waist pants have a slight flare at the hem.
For their first day of the international tour, Meghan carried a new whisper white Loro Piana Loom 32 grained leather top handle bag.
In addition, Meghan wore her beloved Manolo Blahnik BB 105 suede black pumps.
The duchess accessorized the chic workwear ensemble with her Pippa Small Kyanite stud earrings.
And finished the travel outfit with her Lorraine Schwartz Against Evil Eye Diamond Bracelet.
Later in the day, the Sussexes watched a presentation by the Danza Pies del Sol theatre group. The couple enjoyed the open air performance and even clapped and danced along to music from the show named ‘The Hummingbird’s Kiss.’
For the special musical, Meghan wore a new Johanna Ortiz dress called the ‘Navajo Weaver Metallic Tweed Maxi Dress.’ The lurex wine and salmon jacquard maxi boasts a modern keyhole cutout design and is constructed of a woven pattern of mixed-tweed fabric with intricate embroidery. Crafted with reflective metallic fibers, the occasion wear dress shimmers in the light thanks to its shiny golden threads.
Meghan’s burgundy dress was designed in Colombia and has a removable shoulder ruffle.
Social media users were quick to reminisce about Meghan’s growing collection of colorful Johanna Ortiz dresses. The duchess owns two other similar tropical styles including a gold ‘Ideal Universe’ midi and palm print ‘Tropicana Nights’ dress.
Meghan paired the new vibrant dress with her small yellow gold Cartier Juste Un Clou (meaning “just a nail”) choker necklace. The luxury jewelry piece has diamonds totaling 0.20 carats.
She accessorized the summer dress with her Lanvin Sleeper earrings. She’s previously worn the designer earrings on three occasions in August and September 2023.
The duchess also wore a new High Tea vintage coral floral cocktail ring.
She finished the look with new Jimmy Choo Etana 50 Mules in smooth nappa leather. The elegant and simple tan slip-ons feature a 2-inch sculptural tortoise heel, a square toe and crossover straps.
