The Duchess of Sussex whose honorary Nigerian name ‘Amira Ngozi Lolo’ means blessed warrior princess and royal wife, wore a number of stunning outfits while visiting Nigeria during a three day visit. She wowed in playful printed tropical dresses, chic column midis and colorful ruffled gowns. The former Suits star also received raves for her canary colored silk gown from Carolina Herrera which had symbolic ties to her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

For the first outing on Day 2 (Day 1 Here), Meghan wore a Joanna Ortiz Tropicana Nights wool-silk midi dress in ecru black at a volleyball game. She paired the palm print dress featuring a front slit and sweetheart neckline with her Emme Parsons Cecilia leather calfskin thong sandals. For jewelry, she wore her Jennifer Meyer large hammered disc earrings, her Ariel Gordon bracelet and Lorraine Schwartz Against Evil Eye bracelet. She also wore new Heidi Merrick Ex-Pat sunglasses.

For the next outing of the day, the duchess attended a military reception and donned a St. Agni white column tube dress. She paired the sleek strapless dress with Aquazzura So nude sandals and Dior Love Knot vintage clip on earrings (similar).

For her final appearance on day three, Meghan looked sensational in a red ruffle hemmed dress by Orire called the Dire. The duchess paired the vibrant scarlet dress with her Aquazzura So Nude 105 beige sandals and some repeat accessories including her Kimai Semi Hoop earrings with lab grown diamonds and her Logan Hollowell Baby Reverse Water Drop diamond tennis necklace.

For day three, Meghan and Harry attended a basketball game in Lagos. For the event, the duchess wore traditional dress including an Aso Oke (gifted to her the previous day) with a Carolina Herrera classic white shirt. She paired the woven cloth with Burberry Berkley bow gold high heel sandals (a style from her closet seen on the duchess in 2013 at a Self Magazine event and awards shows in Toronto) and her Heidi Merrick Santa Barbara sunglasses. For accessories, she wore vintage Lanvin Amethyst clip on earrings (similar) and her favorite pieces from Ariel Gordon — her diamond tennis bracelet and Imperial Disc Necklace. It’s possible she also wore her Shaun Leane tusk gold plated diamond cuff bracelet

At the State Governor’s House in Lagos, Meghan recycled her yellow ‘taxi cab’ hued Carolina Herrera silk overlay column gown. (Previously worn for Princess Lilibet’s pregnancy announcement in 2021 in a photo taken by Misan Harriman as well as featured in Prince Archie’s birthday on Netflix). The dress choice was thought to be a tribute for her children in honor of Mother’s Day.

She paired the flowing designer maxi with her Aurate collar necklace, Jennifer Meyer large hammered disc earrings and Ariel Gordon Hex bracelet. She also rewore her Aquazzura So Nude leather high heel slingback sandals

For the final event, Harry and Meghan attended a charity polo match in Lagos. For the occasion, Meghan donned a Johanna Ortiz Summer Counts Wool and Silk Maxi dress in the shade beige taupe. She paired the gathered dress featuring embroidered tassels with her Burberry Prorsum Berkley ankle strap gold snakeskin sandals and Heidi Merrick Santa Barbara sunglasses. For accessories, she wore unidentified orange coral enamel earrings (similar to the jewelry worn by brides in Central Nigeria), her Ariel Gordon Diamond ‘Hex’ tennis bracelet and Lorraine Schwartz Against Evil Eye Diamond Pave tennis bracelet.

Lastly, Meghan was seen departing Nigeria in a photograph with Derrick Cobbinah on May 10th, 2024 (shared via Instagram). She and Prince Harry were photographed with the President of the Ghana-Jamaica Chamber of Commerce.

For the outing, the duchess wore a Loro Piana Jamilla linen and wool blazer in brown. She paired the Italian crafted double-breasted jacket with a Loro Piana ‘Takao’ crewneck short sleeve sweater in the shade light dune. The neutral cashmere and silk pullover features patterned stitching similar to argyle. Meghan coordinated the gold-toned button blazer and soft patterned sweater with Le Frame white Jeanne Cropped jeans (similar style). In addition, she wore new Saint Laurent Chris Two-Tone Embellished Leather Loafer Slippers. The pointed toe slip-on designer shoes are made in Italy; Meghan donned the contrast canvas shoes with horsebit hardware in the shade gold brown/grezzo. Finally, the duchess completed the professional travel ensemble with her Kimai Semi Hoop Earrings.
