The Duchess of Cambridge opted for some serious bling for the state banquet with President Donald Trump and the Queen. Opting for the Lover’s Knot Tiara, Kate looked every inch the modern princess as she and William made their way to Buckingham Palace. In addition, Kate selected the Queen Mother’s Sapphire and Diamond Fringe Earrings. The duchess previously wore the long sparkling earrings in Canada in 2015.

For the evening reception, Kate opted for a glamorous ruffled lace ballgown. In addition, she donned her Royal Victorian Order sash for the first time. Per Harper’s Bazaar, “The sash signifies her appointment as a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order (GCVO), the highest ranking of chivalry which the queen personally awards in gratitude for service to the sovereign.” The white monochromatic look is somewhat similar to the ethereal gown she wore to the BAFTA awards, though today’s dress feels slightly more Victorian and vintage.

Kate also carried a white box clutch and appears to have worn an unidentified pearl bracelet (similar).
