The Princess of Wales was majestic in an elegant coat dress for the naming ceremony of the navy warship HMS Glasgow in Scotland today.
Looking refined and regal, Kate was on hand at the BAE Systems’ shipyard in Scotstoun to officiate over the official christening ceremony.

For the occasion, the princess opted for a new nautical themed coat dress from the luxury womenswear brand Suzannah London. Deploying a bit of soft diplomacy, she opted to wear the colors of the Scottish flag via her new royal uniform.
As she has been sponsor of the ship since June 2021, her outfit had meaningful symbolism.
The Suzannah Simple Coat Dress in Navy is designed of lightweight Italian crepe and is trimmed with bright ivory for chic contrast. Kate’s new topcoat is inspired by vintage couture fashion and is fully lined in silk satin.
The princess paired her colorblock coatdress with her Philip Treacy saturn dome hat in white and navy.
She carried her Emmy London Natasha clutch in midnight.
For heels, the future Queen opted for her Gianvito Rossi 105 mm pumps in bisque suede.
And for accessories, the mom of three donned Princess Diana’s cabochon sapphire and diamond drop earrings.
Finally, the princess was spotted in a gifted brooch — the British beauty wore a new piece crafted from sterling silver with the insignia of the HMS Glasgow. Created by one of Scotland’s oldest jewelers, James Porter & Son, the pin features Glasgow’s patron saint St. Mungo (Kentigern) encircled by thistles—Scotland’s national flower.
