The Princess of Wales made an undercover visit just before Christmas to a matinee performance of the Thursford Christmas Spectacular on Dec. 23 in Norfolk with children Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Described as “an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humor and variety” — the show is marketed as the “biggest Christmas show in the country.” And features performers in dance, signing and theatrical acts.
The festive musical show is advertised as an “eclectic mix of both seasonal and year round favorites. With a cast of 130 this is the biggest Christmas show of its kind in Europe!”
Lloyd Hollett, the comedian and presenter of the show shared on his Instagram page that the performance company had hosted the royals and said it was a “career highlight.”
This isn’t the first time Kate and her family have attended a holiday performance in secret. In fact, the princess and her loved ones are often spotted at festive shows during the winter.
Kate previously attended The Nutcracker Ballet in December 2017 and visited Lapland UK to spend time at the Christmas-themed park with Santa and his toy factory in December 2022.
She also previously took her daughter to a performance of Cinderella at the Royal Opera House in London in May 2023 and saw a performance by the English National Ballet in September 2024.
