Princess Kate had a defining year in 2025. The mom of three made a triumphant return to royal life following chemotherapy treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. Appearing frail and drawn in early 2024, the princess now radiates health and vitality. 

As 2026 has arrived, royal watchers are hopeful that Kate will continue to thrive and may embark on an overseas tour this year. Rumors abound that the Prince and Princess of Wales may even visit American soil as King Charles is expected to also make a trip to the USA to mark the 250th year of American Independence. 

Here’s a look at the important dates in Kate’s 2026 calendar:

January 9th–The princess will celebrate her 44th birthday and is expected to release a new photograph to usher in the celebratory occasion.

February 4th–World Cancer Day. This is a special time for the princess who may honor the day with a new photograph like her nature-focused snap last year. 

February 9-15th-Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week. The princess’ passion project and work with Early Childhood Development experts means that she will likely commemorate this important week with special engagements.

March 1st-St. David’s Day. The princess and husband Prince William typically honor the patron saint of Wales with special excursions and events including military parades with the Welsh Guards, trips to Wales to visit local communities and other Welsh cultural events. The princess typically wears red symbolizing the Welsh flag. 

March 9th-Commonwealth Service. The annual Commonwealth Day service is held at Westminster Abbey every year and the princess rarely misses the spring celebration.

March 17th-St. Patrick’s Day. The princess is always outfitted in emerald green for the national holiday. In her role as Colonel of the Irish Guards, Kate will likely take place in a celebratory parade.

April 5th-Easter. The princess has not been well enough to attend Easter mass with the royal family in a few years and there is hope she and her husband and children will attend church services this year. 

April 29th-Wedding Anniversary. Kate and William will celebrate their milestone 15th wedding anniversary and it’s believed they will release a new romantic photograph to mark the occasion.

May-Mental Health Awareness Month. The prince and princess may participate in activities designed to encourage awareness regarding mental health and breaking the stigma around the topic of mental wellness.

May 19-23rd. Chelsea Garden Show. The princess loves gardening, nature and countryside campouts so it would be no surprise if she made an appearance at the floral extravaganza at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London.

May-Buckingham Palace Garden Party. Kate’s attendance at the King’s summer garden party is a highlight of the summer season.

June 13-Trooping the Colour. The princess is expected to be in her best regal fashion for the King’s annual birthday parade.

June 15th-Garter Service. Kate is a regular at the Order of the Garter ceremony at St. George’s Chapel each year. It’s anticipated that the princess will be supporting William, a Knight of the Garter at this summer ceremony.

June 16-20th-Royal Ascot. The princess shows off her star power at Ascot Racecourse each summer by dazzling in a beautiful dress. It’s believed she will attend at least one race day during the four-day event his year.

July 11th and 12th-Wimbledon. It’s expected that Kate will be in the royal box this year serving in her role as the patron of the tennis championships.

July-September. Summer Break. It’s a tradition for the Wales family to take their usual summer break and vacation in Greece, Mustique or the Caribbean during the children’s school holidays. The family also sometimes ski in the French or Swiss Alps during their vacation. 

September 8th-The anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s passing. Prince William and Princess Kate may attend a memorial or a commemorative service in honor of the late Queen.

November- Earthshot Awards. The Wales may travel abroad for William’s environmental awards event recognizing those working to protect and preserve the planet. 

November 11, 2026-Remembrance Day. The royal family observe this day of remembrance in honor of fallen soldiers during the the First World War. The princess typically participates in an evening and daytime ceremony.

December-Christmas Carol Service. Kate hosts her popular “Together at Christmas” concert to celebrate the merry season. 

December-Christmas walk. Kate and her husband and children attend church at Sandringham each year along with the extended royal family.
