Appearing relaxed and happy, the Duchess of Sussex joined her husband Prince Harry for the Audi Polo Cup today June 30th 2018. This is not the first time Duchess Meghan has been spotted cheering Prince Harry from the sidelines as she was seen at the Cowarth Polo Club in 2017 where she famously shared a covert kiss with the prince after the sporting event by a row of parked cars. On that occasion, Meghan opted for a very formal look with an Antonio Berardi double-breasted navy dress (shop similar HERE) with an asymmetric hem and Babaton for Artizia blazer.
Today’s look was decidedly more casual with the Duchess opting for what appears to be her Madewell Biltmore Panama hat, a gingham-style sleeveless shirtdress and Sarah Grear Flint sandals (thanks to Laura Ashworth). The Duchess is reportedly wearing a Shoshanna Ashland Sleeveless Belted Gingham Eyelet Dress (thanks to UFO No More).
The casual long shirtdress is not that far removed from the Duchess of Cambridge’s recent button front off-the-shoulder style she wore to support husband Prince William playing polo. Duchess Kate along with Princess Charlotte and Prince George were seen playing and laughing together in mid-June at the Maserati Royal Charity Polo match.
The Duchess was not alone for this occasion as she was spotted with friends Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian as well as Prince Harry’s longtime friend and mentor Mark Dyer.
The causal audi polo ensemble is classic Meghan. The newlywed loves sleeveless styles in muted colors like cream, beige or blush and she often gravitates to midi-length dresses which have an airy quality. She loves a little bit of fun details like buttons, asymmetric hems and belted styles. Her look is preppy chic meets downtown sophisticate.
