Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly are taking a break after all the holiday hoopla and spending time together on a secret New Year’s Eve babymoon at an undisclosed location. Reports suggest that the prince and his newlywed wife have “quietly flown away” for some downtime and a little couples retreat ahead of the arrival of the Sussex baby in the spring of 2019.
As Meghan’s burgeoning bump can attest, it won’t be long before the dynamic royal duo will welcome a third little bird into their love nest. Yet, before H&M can become a mighty trio–they’ve got to wait out the standard nine months. So, let’s take a look at some of Mommy Meghan’s best bump moments as she gets ready for the final months of her pregnancy.
- Teal Reveal
For royal tour Day 10, the Duchess of Sussex was tasked with a statue unveiling in Fiji alongside her handsome husband. For the occasion, she looked proudly protective of her second trimester tummy in a teal Jason Wu dress.
2. Pushing the Right Buttons
The stylish duchess opted to recycle a navy button front Antonio Berardi dress for one of the final days of the royal tour and it was evident that the modern style beautifully accented her tiny tummy with baby on board.
3. In the Navy
Another navy dress for the win! Meghan’s burgeoning bump was on full display as the mom to be looked giddy during the first leg of the royal tour.
4. Flower Girl
While Meghan dropped a lot of ‘baby blue’ hints on the royal tour–there’s still a chance the girly and glam mom-to-be could be carrying a little princess as indicated by her sudden love of frilly florals.
5. Baby Daze
The royal parents-to-be looked more than ready for a little fun in the sun as they took part in a warm walkabout on their Oceania tour. Meghan opted for a summery, striped dress perfect for showcasing her little belly dweller.
6. Sandy Dandy
In Sydney, Australia in October, Meghan and Harry spent some time on Bondi Beach where they experienced a little love from the locals as well as got ahem, lei’d. Meghan spent a few spare moments cradling her growing midsection while admiring the waves.
7. Coos and Boos
One day before Halloween in October of this year, Meghan and Harry made the rounds on a public walkabout in New Zealand where the duchess met the adoring crowds all the while giving the Sussex sprog a little motherly love.
8. Bundle of Joy
Harry and Meghan looked like proud parents as they assessed a stuffed kangaroo in Sydney at Admiral House during day one of the royal tour and the same day the couple announced they were expecting. Meghan wore a white sheath dress called ‘Blessed’ likely in homage to their future brood.
9. Marching On
A recent poll on the Express, showed an overwhelming 80% of respondents believe Meghan’s baby will arrive in March and not April of 2019. Perhaps Meghan dropped a big baby hint with her colorful three-pendant aquamarine necklace in Tonga (the birthstone of March is aquamarine)? Either way, arguably Meghan’s best baby bump moment yet was at Christmastime this month when she showed off her new curves in a sleek Victoria Beckham midi dress.
